The Web Slinger 16-inch Carbine-Gas 1:7 5.56 NATO AR-15 Custom Handguard Rifle Complete Upper from Davidson Defense is a complete upper for the AR-15 platform chambered in 5.56 NATO. The configuration includes a 16-inch medium-profile barrel, a Unique-ARs 15-inch Web handguard, a 7075-T6 anodized upper receiver with M4 feed ramps, a micro low-profile gas block, a GI birdcage flash hider, a complete bolt carrier group, and a mil-spec charging handle.
The 16-inch barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO and constructed from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a medium profile and a 1:7 twist rate. The nitride finish covers the full barrel surface for corrosion and wear resistance. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and includes a GI birdcage flash hider. The carbine-length gas system pairs with a micro low-profile gas block at .750 O.D., a separate component positioned beneath the handguard on the barrel.
The upper receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and M4 feed ramp compatibility. The Unique-ARs 15-inch Web handguard provides accessory mounting options along its length without contact with the barrel or gas system components.
The complete bolt carrier group uses a 9310 alloy steel bolt with a nitride finish, is made in the USA, and is compatible with 5.56, .223, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend configurations. The included mil-spec AR-15 M4 charging handle meets mil-spec dimensional standards for use with the upper receiver included in this configuration.
