The magazine release on the AR-15 and LR-308 platform is an inherently right-hand dominant design, however, this design incorporates the engineering to change the right-hand dominant mag release into an ambidextrous magazine release for your lower receiver.

About this Mag Release: Strike Industries Ambidextrous Magazine Release drops into any receiver designed to accept a mil-spec magazine catch. Low profile, and ergonomically designed, the mag-catch integrates with most receivers while being very easy to use and will not accidentally activate or interfere with other controls. The package also includes Strike Industries enhanced Strike Magazine Release button and spring for a complete drop-in upgrade. For "wrong-handed" folks or for those that just want more options, the Strike Ambi-Mag Release is the perfect component to have.

Ambidextrous: This magazine release uses a left-side rotating spring retained ball bearing magazine release system. This makes your magazine release be accessible from both sides of the rifle. Great for both left-handed and right-handed shooters.

Extended-Release Button: This magazine release uses an extended/raised button making manipulation smoother for the shooter on both the left and right sides.

Texture: Raised Edge - This magazine release uses a raised edge to ensure proper no-slip engagement with the shooter's finger.
