The SHOTAC Heavy Duty Solar Power Red Dot Sight features aluminum construction with black finish and solar panel power with CR2023 battery backup. This enclosed emitter optic includes a multi-coated lens, red dot reticle, and windage and elevation adjustment. The sight includes both riser mount and low-profile mount for 1913 Picatinny rail compatibility, flip-up lens covers, installation tools, and CR2023 battery.

Solar Power and Battery Backup System

The solar panel provides primary power for the red dot reticle during daylight conditions and ambient light exposure. The CR2023 battery backup ensures optic function in low-light conditions or when solar power is insufficient. This dual power system provides continuous operation across varying light conditions without manual brightness adjustment for solar mode.

Dual Mount Configuration and Rail Compatibility

The included riser mount and low-profile mount provide two mounting height options for 1913 Picatinny rail systems. The riser mount elevates the optic for co-witness height with iron sights or higher cheek weld positions. The low-profile mount positions the optic closer to the rail surface for lower sight height. Both mounts attach to standard 1913 Picatinny rail surfaces. Installation tools are included for mount attachment.

Enclosed Emitter Design and Lens Protection

The heavy-duty enclosed emitter design fully encases the LED emitter and reticle projection system within the aluminum housing, providing protection from environmental exposure. The multi-coated optic lens provides light transmission and clarity. Flip-up lens covers protect the front and rear lens surfaces from debris, scratches, and impact damage during transport and storage. Windage and elevation adjustments allow for zero adjustment.
