The Ronin Competition 7.5-inch 1:16 10mm AR-15 Freefloat M-Lok Pistol Upper Build Kit from Davidson Defense is an upper build kit covering the three core upper assembly components. The kit includes a 7.5-inch barrel, a 7-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard with a partial Picatinny top rail section, and a 6061-T6 aluminum upper receiver. A 10mm-40 S&W A2 birdcage flash hider and a micro low-profile gas block are also included. BCG and charging handle are not included.

Barrel and Muzzle Device

The 7.5-inch barrel carries an M4 contour profile with a 1:16 twist rate chambered in 10mm Auto. The steel is 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium with a parkerized finish. Thread pitch on the muzzle end is 9-in-16x24, matched to the included 10mm-40 S&W A2 birdcage flash hider in manganese phosphate finish.

Handguard and Upper Receiver

The 7-inch freefloat handguard is a lightweight slim-profile design in black hardcoat anodized aluminum with an M-Lok interface and a partial Picatinny top rail section along the top of the forend. The freefloat configuration keeps the forend clear of the barrel and provides surface area for accessories and panels across the M-Lok slots and the top rail section. The upper receiver is 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type 3 Class 2 hardcoat anodized finish, configured for pistol caliber AR-15 builds.
