The Davidson Defense Protectorate 16-inch Carbine-Gas Complete Upper build is engineered for performance and adaptability in the AR-15 platform. Featuring a 16" H-Bar barrel chambered in 7.62x39mm with a 1:10 twist rate, this upper assembly is crafted from durable 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a phosphate finish. The carbine-length gas system ensures reliable cycling, complemented by a low-profile .750 gas block and a GI Birdcage flash hider.
The upper receiver is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with anodized finish, incorporating M4 feed ramps for improved reliability. It is paired with a 15-inch Freefloat M-Lok handguard, providing attachment points for accessories while maintaining a lightweight profile. The complete upper includes a Bear Creek Arsenal bolt carrier group made of 9310 alloy steel, finished with nitride for enhanced durability, along with a mil-spec AR-15 charging handle.
