The Mockingbird Gen 2 is a complete AR-9 pistol build with everything you need except the lower receiver. It pairs a 6-inch nitride barrel with a billet upper receiver, M-LOK handguard, and the MVR reflex sight for fast target acquisition. The SBA3 brace provides stable control, while the 9mm bolt carrier group cycles Glock or Colt-compatible magazines reliably.
The Mockingbird Gen 2 is purpose-built for the AR-9 platform. The billet upper receiver is optimized for 9mm ballistics, and the bolt carrier group is specifically designed to cycle 9mm ammunition reliably. The 6-inch barrel length balances velocity with compact handling, making this kit ideal for shooters who want a shorter, more maneuverable platform without sacrificing functional range. The nitride finish on the barrel resists corrosion and handles high round counts.
The included MVR reflex sight features dual red and green reticles for quick target transitions in various lighting conditions. The sight mounts directly to the upper receiver, giving you an immediately usable pistol out of the box. The M-LOK handguard supports additional accessories if you want to expand the platform later.
The 9mm bolt carrier group uses an external extractor and feeds from both Glock and Colt-pattern magazines. This dual compatibility gives you flexibility in ammunition sourcing and magazine availability. The bolt carrier is 8620 alloy steel with nitride finish for durability.
This full build kit includes the bolt carrier group, charging handle, lower parts kit, buffer tube, buffer, recoil spring, castle nut, end plate, and SBA3 brace. Lower receiver not included. All components are mil-spec quality or better, ensuring compatibility and reliability across the platform.
