The Lightshow Anodized Purple Full Build Kit from Davidson Defense is a .300 Blackout AR-15 pistol configuration built around a 7.5-inch H-Bar barrel with a pistol-length gas system. The kit includes the upper assembly, a complete bolt carrier group, charging handle, SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace, lower parts kit, and buffer system components. The lower receiver is not included.

Barrel and Upper Receiver

The barrel runs 7.5 inches in .300 Blackout with a 1-in-8 twist rate, H-Bar profile, and 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium construction finished in phosphate. A pistol-length gas system pairs with a .750 O.D. micro low-profile steel gas block in phosphate finish and a stainless pistol-length gas tube. The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and M4 feed ramps. Thread pitch is 5-in-8x24, and the kit includes a GI Birdcage flash hider in manganese phosphate finish sized for the .308 bore diameter at that thread pitch.

Handguard

The 7-inch Guntec Airlite Series Honeycomb freefloat M-Lok handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum with a purple anodized finish. The freefloat profile provides a clean forend with the Honeycomb pattern reducing overall weight while retaining the M-Lok interface for accessory placement. At 7 inches, the handguard length exceeds the 7.5-inch barrel, so the barrel does not protrude past the handguard, with the muzzle device providing clearance forward of the handguard end.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included bolt carrier group covers the 5.56, .223, .300, and .350 platform family and is made from 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish. A Mil-Spec M4 charging handle completes the upper component set.

SB Tactical SBA3 Brace

The kit includes the SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace. The SBA3 is a multi-position adjustable brace designed for AR-15 pistol configurations and pairs directly with the included Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube.

Buffer System and Lower Components

The kit includes a Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position aluminum buffer tube, a 3 oz standard carbine buffer, a spring steel recoil spring, a Mil-Spec receiver end plate with phosphate finish, and a castle nut. A lower parts kit covers the internal lower receiver components required for lower completion. These components cover the full lower completion hardware outside the serialized receiver itself.
