Guntec Ultra Lightweight Honeycomb 15" AR-15 M-Lok Freefloat Handguard - Gold
One of the most critical components of any AR-15 custom build is the handguard. In recent years freefloat handguards have increased in popularity. The freefloat handguard covers the barrel and is attached to the upper receiver via a barrel nut. The handguard serves many functions in an AR-15 build kit such as protecting the shooter's hand from being burned by the barrel, offering the shooter something to grip to help steady the weapon, can function as the attachment point for sights/optic, can have additional accessories attached, and adds to the aesthetic appeal of the build.

About this Handguard:
The Ultra Light Honeycomb handguard by Guntec features a lightweight slim profile for easier wielding in the field. The Ultra Light Honeycomb handguard also includes an M-Lok rail system for easy installation of extra hardware.

The Honeycomb Handguard by Guntec has honeycomb shapes machined for easier grip and a lighter overall weight design for your build.

This Guntec AR-15 Freefloat Handguard has a T3 Hard Coat Anodization and is made from 6061-T6 Aluminum.
Made in USA:
All Guntec handguards are precision CNC machined in Scottsdale, Arizona in the USA.

This Ultra Light Honeycomb Handguard is CNC machined with a Picatinny rail across the top of the entire handguard.
Finish:
Type 3 hardcoat gold anodizing is used with this Guntec handguard to increase corrosion resistance.
