Gideon Optics Mediator ACRO-Footprint Enclosed Red Dot Sight, 3-Reticle System, Red Emitter

Gideon Optics Mediator ACRO-Footprint Enclosed Red Dot Sight, 3-Reticle System, Red Emitter

The Gideon Optics Mediator, part number MD10RD, is a fully enclosed red dot sight machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in black, built around the ACRO mounting footprint. It offers three selectable reticles: a 3 MOA dot, a 38 MOA circle, and a circle-dot. That lets the shooter choose between precise aiming and fast, wide-area acquisition from a single optic. At 47mm x 35mm x 32mm and 2.5 ounces, it is a compact, lightweight option for slides and plates cut for the ACRO footprint.

Reticles and Controls

The Mediator gives the shooter three reticle choices. The 3 MOA dot supports precise aiming, the 38 MOA circle frames the target for fast acquisition at close range, and the circle-dot combines both in one sight picture. The red emitter offers 10 brightness settings for daylight and general use, plus 2 night vision settings for use with night vision equipment. Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA clicks, which keeps zeroing simple. The optic is parallax-free up to 33 yards.

Power, Housing, and Durability

A side-loading CR2032 battery powers the sight for up to 50,000 hours, and loading from the side means the battery can be changed without removing the optic from the slide or plate. Shake-to-awake activation wakes the optic when it senses motion and puts it to sleep after 225 seconds of inactivity, which helps conserve battery life. The fully enclosed 7075-T6 aluminum housing protects the emitter and lens from debris, and the optic is rated IPX7 for water resistance and built to resist shock.

Compatibility

This optic is compatible with ACRO-footprint slides and plates that have an undercut mounting surface. Mounting hardware, lens coatings, and specific pistol model fitment were not supplied with this listing and should be confirmed before purchase.
