The Davidson Defense engraved lower receiver is a 7075-T6 forged aluminum stripped lower built for shooters who want ambi controls without compromise. It arrives serialized, finished in Type III hard coat anodize, and includes an ambidextrous bolt catch that installs into the milled ambi slot. This is a quality foundation for any AR-15 build.
The milled ambi slot accepts the included ambidextrous bolt catch, allowing you to operate the bolt release from either side of the receiver. This design is valuable for shooters who shoot left or right handed, or for those training to operate the controls from both sides. The slot is precision milled to accept standard ambi bolt catch kits.
The 7075-T6 forged aluminum provides the strength and rigidity expected in AR-15 lower receivers. Type III hard coat anodize creates a protective layer that resists corrosion and wear. The black hardcoat finish is standard across the platform and pairs with most upper assemblies and furniture.
This is a stripped lower receiver. You will need a lower parts kit, buffer tube assembly, and stock or brace to complete the firearm. The ambidextrous bolt catch is included.
