The barrel is a 16-inch M4 contour unit in 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a phosphate finish and cryo treatment. It is chambered in .223 Wylde with a 1:8 twist rate and a 1/2x28 thread pitch. The carbine gas system runs through a micro low-profile 0.750 gas block, and a GI Birdcage flash hider at 1/2x28 is included at the muzzle.
The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish. The freefloat M-Lok handguard surrounds the barrel without contact and provides a clean mounting surface for M-Lok compatible accessories along the handguard body.
The included bolt carrier group features an 8620 alloy steel body and a 9310 alloy steel bolt head, both with a nitride finish. It is compatible with 5.56, .223, .300, and .350 platforms. A Mil-Spec M4 charging handle is included as part of the upper component set.
The stock is a SOPMOD style collapsible unit. The buffer system consists of a Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube, a 3 oz aluminum buffer with internal steel weights, and a recoil spring. An end plate and castle nut complete the rear hardware included with this full build kit.
