The Davidson Defense Bladewake with Gauntlet Arms Brace is an AR-9 pistol full build kit chambered in 9mm with a 7.5-inch HBAR profile barrel. The kit includes the upper assembly, 9mm bolt carrier group, charging handle, Gauntlet Arms polymer pistol stabilizing brace, heavy duty aluminum pistol buffer tube, 5.5 oz 9mm carbine buffer, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware. The AR-9 platform operates via blowback. The lower receiver is not included.

Barrel and Upper Receiver

The 7.5-inch HBAR profile barrel is 4150 CrMoV steel with a phosphate finish and a 1:10 twist rate. The muzzle is threaded at 1-in-2x36 and pairs with the included KAK Plan B Radial Brake. The Plan B is 17-4 stainless steel with a nitride finish and a .375-inch bore, and it supports modular suppressor mounting ecosystems compatible with the Plan B platform. The Freedom Factory Tactical dedicated AR-9 upper receiver is 7075-T6 forged aluminum with M4 feed ramps and a Type III hard coat anodized finish, serving as the core front end structure for the AR-9 build. The AR-9 platform operates via blowback.

Handguard

The tubular freefloat M-Lok handguard is aluminum in black, keeping the forend lightweight and compact. The tubular profile maintains a slim, clean forend, and the M-Lok slots provide attachment points for lights, grips, and other accessories. The handguard length is shorter than the 7.5-inch barrel, and the muzzle device extends beyond the handguard to provide the necessary clearance.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included 9mm bolt carrier group is built from 8620 alloy steel with a nitride finish. It is compatible with both Glock and Colt magazine patterns, covering the two primary AR-9 lower receiver feed configurations. The mil-spec M4 charging handle completes the upper component set.

Gauntlet Arms Brace and Buffer System

The Gauntlet Arms polymer pistol stabilizing brace in black pairs with the included heavy duty aluminum pistol buffer tube. The 5.5 oz 9mm carbine buffer, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware cover the core lower completion components outside the serialized lower receiver.
