The Davidson Defense Blackreach is an AR-9 pistol full build kit chambered in 9mm with a 6-inch medium profile barrel, offered in an SBR Ready configuration. Barrel and Upper Receiver

The 6-inch medium profile barrel is 4150 CrMoV steel with a nitride finish and a 1:10 twist rate. The muzzle is threaded at 1-in-2x28 and pairs with the included GI birdcage flash hider. The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and serves as the core front end structure for the AR-9 build.

Handguard

The 4.2-inch tubular M-Lok handguard is aluminum in black with a slim tubular profile that keeps the forend lightweight and compact. The M-Lok slots along the handguard provide attachment points for lights, grips, and other accessories. The handguard length is shorter than the 6-inch barrel, and the muzzle device extends beyond the handguard to provide the necessary clearance.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included 9mm bolt carrier group is built from 8620 alloy steel with a nitride finish. This BCG is the correct unit for AR-9 blowback-operated configurations. The mil-spec M4 charging handle completes the upper component set.

SBR Ready Configuration

This kit ships without a brace and is intended for builders selecting their own final rear end configuration. The mil-spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube, 5.5 oz buffer, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware are all included to support the lower completion build. The SBR Ready designation means the brace selection is left to the builder, allowing for a custom setup based on individual configuration requirements.
