The kit includes the upper assembly, bolt carrier group, charging handle, SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace, mil-spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube, 3 oz carbine buffer, carbine recoil spring, mil-spec receiver end plate, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware. Barrel and Gas System

The 11.5-inch government profile barrel is 4150 CrMoV steel with a phosphate finish and a 1:7 twist rate. The barrel handles the 5.56 NATO chamber and provides the threaded muzzle end for the included GI birdcage flash hider in manganese phosphate finish at a 1-in-2x28 thread pitch. The carbine-length gas system uses a .750 O.D. steel micro low-profile gas block, which sits beneath the handguard and keeps the forend profile clean and unobstructed.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and an anodized finish. M4 feed ramps support reliable cartridge feeding from the magazine into the chamber. The 10-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum in black, giving the build a clean forend with M-Lok accessory slots for lights, grips, and other attachments. The handguard length matches the 11.5-inch barrel, with the muzzle device providing clearance beyond the handguard.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included bolt carrier group is a complete AR-15 unit built from 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish. It is compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend configurations. The mil-spec M4 charging handle completes the upper component set.

SB Tactical SBA3 Brace and Buffer System

The SB Tactical SBA3 is an adjustable pistol stabilizing brace that pairs with the included mil-spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube. The 3 oz carbine buffer, carbine recoil spring, mil-spec receiver end plate, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware cover the core lower completion components outside the serialized lower receiver.
