The upper receiver includes a Davidson Defense forward assist assembly and a Davidson Defense ejection port cover with dust cover rod and spring. This complete upper is compatible with .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO and is made in the USA.
The Davidson Defense AR-15 upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with an FDE Cerakote finish in flat dark earth. M4 feed ramps are present on this receiver, and the flat top rail follows Picatinny Mil-Std-1913 specifications for optic and accessory compatibility. The receiver includes a Davidson Defense forward assist assembly and a Davidson Defense ejection port cover with dust cover rod and spring.
The included 5.56x45mm bolt carrier group features a bolt head of 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish. The carrier is 8620 alloy steel with a matching nitride finish. This BCG is direct impingement compatible, forward assist compatible, and full auto compatible. The bolt carrier group is made in the USA.
The included Mil-Spec charging handle features an A2-style latch and an anodized black finish. It is compatible with standard AR-15 components and follows Mil-Spec specifications throughout.
