The Davidson Defense AR-9 complete upper receiver bundle includes a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver in FDE Cerakote, a 9mm bolt carrier group, a Mil-Spec charging handle, and a Mil-Spec lower parts kit with fire control group and Mil-Spec A2 grip. The upper receiver includes a Davidson Defense forward assist assembly and a Davidson Defense ejection port cover with dust cover rod and spring. This bundle is chambered in 9mm and operates on a blowback system. Lower receiver is not included.
The Davidson Defense AR-9 upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with an FDE Cerakote finish in flat dark earth. M4 feed ramps are present on this receiver, and the flat top rail follows Picatinny Mil-Std-1913 specifications for optic and accessory compatibility. The receiver includes a Davidson Defense forward assist assembly and a Davidson Defense ejection port cover with dust cover rod and spring.
The included 9mm bolt carrier group features an 8620 alloy steel body with a nitride finish. This BCG is a pistol caliber design compatible with Glock and Colt pattern magazines. The 9mm platform uses a blowback system rather than a gas-operated system. The included Mil-Spec charging handle features an A2-style latch and an anodized black finish compatible with standard AR-15 components in an AR-9 compatible setup.
The included Mil-Spec lower parts kit contains a fire control group and a Mil-Spec A2 grip in black. This lower parts kit is compatible with standard AR-15 components in an AR-9 compatible setup. Lower receiver is not included.
