The Aegis Lightweight 10.5-Inch .338 ARC AR-15 Full Build Kit includes an upper assembly, bolt carrier group, charging handle, buffer tube, buffer, recoil spring, castle nut, end plate, lower parts kit, and SB Tactical SBA3 brace. The 10.5-inch Bear Creek Arsenal barrel features 4150 CrMoV steel construction with phosphate finish, HBAR profile, and 1:8 twist rate. The upper assembly includes a 7075 T6 aluminum upper receiver with M4 feed ramps and anodized finish, 10-inch JE Machine ultra-lightweight M-Lok handguard with partial top rail constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, micro low-profile gas block, and Omega Manufacturing A2-style birdcage flash hider. The QPQ nitride-finished 6.5 Grendel II BCG is constructed from steel. Lower receiver not included.

Pistol-Length Gas System Configuration

The 10.5-inch barrel pairs with a pistol-length gas system designed for .338 ARC chambering. The micro low-profile steel gas block with phosphate finish measures 0.750 inches in diameter and sits beneath the M-Lok handguard. The included stainless steel pistol-length gas tube connects the gas block to the upper receiver. The pistol gas system length provides the dwell time necessary for reliable cycling with .338 ARC ammunition.

.338 ARC Chambering and JE Machine Handguard

The .338 ARC chambering utilizes the 6.5 Grendel case as its parent cartridge and accepts .338 caliber projectiles. The HBAR profile barrel provides increased mass and rigidity compared to standard profiles. The 10-inch JE Machine ultra-lightweight M-Lok handguard features aircraft-grade aluminum construction with anodized black finish and includes a partial top Picatinny rail section. The handguard includes barrel nut and provides M-Lok slots for accessory mounting.

SB Tactical SBA3 Brace and Complete Components

The SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace mounts to the included mil-spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube and provides adjustable length of pull. The full build kit includes all components necessary for a complete .338 ARC AR-15 pistol except the lower receiver, including upper assembly, 6.5 Grendel II BCG compatible with .338 ARC, mil-spec charging handle with anodized black aluminum construction, buffer system with 3-ounce standard carbine buffer and recoil spring, Recoil Technologies complete mil-spec lower parts kit with A2 grip, and SBA3 brace.
