The handguard is a 15-inch Freefloat M-Lok style, constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, with a Type III hard coat anodized finish for added resilience. A micro low-profile gas block (0.750 size) and an AR-15 1/2x28 TPI GI Birdcage flash hider complete the installation. The upper receiver is made of 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with anodizing for strength.
