The Charging Handle on the DPMS LR-308 / AR-10 rifle is a simple latching design that indexes with the gas key on your bolt carrier group, this allows you to charge your rifle, eject and feed rounds manually.
About this Charging Handle: The new SI ARCH or (AR Charging Handle from Strike Industries) is a 7075 T-6 forged hard anodized charging handle that functions with ease. With its high polished surface, its ergonomic design makes for a smooth, clean charge. The quality of the ARCH is second to none, it's built for durability. Its gas busting ability diverts harmful gases, oil and dirt away from the shooter. Once you place the ARCH on your rifle, you will see, feel, and know the quality of the ARCH!
Ambidextrous: This AR-15 charging handle can be manipulated from both sides, improving ergonomics for both left and right-handed shooters.
Latch Style: Extended Latch - Extended Latch Charging handles allow the user more surface area to grip and engage with the charging handle. While this extends just a bit further out from the upper receiver, extended latches are great for users with gloves or those wanting just a bit more leverage.
Platform: This charging handle is designed for the LR-308 platform. This will work on the AR-15 platform, but the latch will not engage with the groove cut on the upper receiver, and it will be a few inches longer.
