The John Doe 15 receiver is CNC machined from billet aluminum and finished in Type III hard coat black anodize. It carries no logo and includes only the ATF minimum required markings. The receiver includes an integrated Magpul style trigger guard and is compatible with Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers. It is drilled and tapped for a 6-32 receiver tension set screw. The rear takedown detent is located underneath the pistol grip for a simplified profile.

Lower Parts Kit and Grip

The included lower parts kit covers the internal small parts needed for lower receiver completion, built to Mil-Spec standards. A Mil-Spec A2 style polymer pistol grip in black is included as part of the lower parts kit. These components address the internal lower receiver parts group and exterior grip interface together as a single included set.

Buffer System Components

The buffer system in this kit consists of a Mil-Spec heavy duty 6-position carbine buffer tube, a 3 oz standard carbine buffer, and a standard carbine recoil spring made in the USA. A US Tactical Mil-Spec receiver end plate and a Mil-Spec carbine castle nut complete the rear hardware set. Magpul DT Stock

This kit includes a Magpul DT carbine stock in flat dark earth, built from reinforced polymer and compatible with Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions. The stock features a length of pull adjustment with a dual tension auto engaging friction lock and a single ambidextrous adjustment lever. It includes a non slip rubber buttpad with optimized curvature and a sloping cheek weld profile in a slim ergonomic design. The stock also includes a rotation limiting integral QD sling socket and a rear 125 inch sling loop, and is compatible with Magpul ASAP sling attachments and CTR cheek risers on fully extended stocks or rifles without rear facing charging handles.
