This Grit Grips bundle centers on an assembled, serialized Flat Dark Earth frame for G43X/G48-pattern pistols, molded from high-strength glass-reinforced polymer in the USA. It reduces the grip angle to 18° from the roughly 22° of an OEM-style grip, and it adds an extended beavertail, an extreme double-undercut trigger guard, an angled and textured accelerator pad, and a proprietary directional texture with an aggressive, custom stippled look. Nickel-plated rails are molded into the frame. The frame arrives with its internals installed, including a 5 lb. connector, an enhanced slide stop lever, a G43X/G48-compatible magazine catch, and a steel locking block, and it includes one PSA Dagger Micro 15-round 9mm magazine. This item is a serialized firearm frame and requires FFL transfer.

Frame and Ergonomics

The frame is molded from glass-reinforced polymer and finished in FDE. The lower 18° grip angle gives a more natural point for many shooters than the steeper OEM-style angle. The extended beavertail supports the web of the hand, and the double-undercut trigger guard allows a higher hold on the pistol. The angled, textured accelerator pad gives the trigger finger a secure surface, and the aggressive directional texture adds traction across the grip. Nickel-plated rails are integrated into the molded frame.

Internal Components

The frame arrives with its internals installed. These include the trigger, trigger bar, trigger housing with integrated ejector, trigger spring, trigger pin, trigger housing pin, and a 5 lb. connector, along with an enhanced slide stop lever with spring and a slide lock with spring. The G43 magazine catch from the parts kit is not used. Instead, a black, matte, factory-style low-profile G43X/G48 magazine catch with a serrated release surface and its spring is installed. A one-piece, precision-machined steel locking block is also installed, providing barrel lockup and structural support between the barrel and frame.

Magazine

One PSA Dagger Micro magazine is included, holding 15 rounds of 9mm. It is built from stainless steel with a polymer overmold and a black Micro Slick finish. It is compatible with the G43X, G48, and PSA Dagger Micro, and it is designed for use with a polymer magazine catch. The magazine ships separately from the frame.

Compatibility

This frame is compatible with G43X/G48-pattern frame pins and most aftermarket components, and with most holsters made around G43X/G48-pattern frames. It requires the Grit Grips proprietary magwell and is not compatible with standard OEM G43X/G48 magwells. The guide rod, recoil spring, and backplate are not included, and a slide, barrel, and slide internals must be sourced separately to complete the pistol.
