The Davidson Defense "Panhead" AR-15 Billet Upper Receiver design was influenced by the iconic Panhead chopper motorcycles, a motor that was popular from the late 1940s and stayed in production until the mid-1960s.  Panheads are known for having a unique aesthetic, as well as being functional.  The classic styling of these bikes that are equipped with the Panhead motor has become timeless and they also have been modified and customized to fit the customers' needs and desires.  This is a very appropriate metaphor for an AR-15, especially a billet upper receiver.  AR-15's like chopper motorcycles are constantly being modified to fit the customers' needs and wants.  So it made sense to derive design inspiration from a product that people interact with the same way.  

Precision machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum the Panhead AR-15 billet upper boasts a sleek and clean design, that doesn't comprise structural integrity while maintaining a slimmer profile for weight reduction.  To maintain corrosion resistance the Panhead is treated with a Type 3 hardcoat anodizing.  Additionally, the Panhead fits a traditional Mil-Spec ejection port door.

Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the returning party, with the exception of the wrong item being received or on warranty exchange during the first 30 days after delivery. Items returned for warranty will only be replaced or exchanged, no refund given on warranty items.
