The barrel runs 16 inches long, built specifically for .22 LR in a pencil profile rather than a heavier contour. It carries a 1:16 twist rate and a 1/2x28 muzzle thread, cycling on a direct blowback system. At the muzzle sits an A2 GI-style birdcage flash hider listed for .223/5.56 compatibility, threaded to match the barrel's 1/2x28 pattern and secured with the included 1/2-inch black crush washer.
The upper receiver is a 17000 Series optimized AR-15 unit finished in Type III black anodizing, with a dust cover pin provision. The ejection port carries a standard .223/5.56 door with its rod and spring installed. Over the barrel sits a 15-inch ACE Series free-float handguard finished in black, using an M-LOK attachment system with a full-length Picatinny rail running along its top.
The bolt group is a dedicated .22 LR unit machined from stainless steel, built specifically for this rimfire chambering rather than shared with centerfire calibers. A Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle rounds out the upper's operating components.
