The Shank SBR Ready Full Build Kit is built around a 7.5-inch Bear Creek Arsenal barrel chambered in .45 ACP, with an M4 contour finished in Parkerized. It's paired with a pistol-caliber AR-15 billet upper receiver. It pairs a 7-inch ultra-lightweight minimalist M-LOK handguard with a Hughes Precision thread adapter, giving this build a Suppressor Ready configuration since no muzzle device is installed on that threading. It runs on a direct blowback operating system. A PCC bolt assembly for .45 ACP, Mil-Spec charging handle, complete Lower Parts Kit, and carbine buffer-system components are all included. The lower receiver is not included, and this SBR Ready version ships without a brace.

Barrel and Thread Adapter

The barrel is 7.5 inches long, chambered in .45 ACP and built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and M4 contour. It carries a 1:16 twist rate and a .578x28 RH muzzle thread, cycling on a direct blowback system. A Hughes Precision thread adapter is fitted at the muzzle, stepping the .578x28 RH female input thread down to a 5/8x24 RH male output thread, with no muzzle device installed on that final threading.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a billet unit built for the pistol-caliber AR-15 platform. Over the barrel sits a 7-inch ultra-lightweight minimalist handguard, using an M-LOK attachment system with a full-length Picatinny rail running along its top. This handguard does not include anti-rotation tabs.

Suppressor Ready

The Hughes Precision thread adapter converts this barrel's .578x28 RH threading to a 5/8x24 RH output, and no muzzle device is installed on that output threading, which is part of what makes this build Suppressor Ready. The bare threaded end leaves that output open for the buyer's own suppressor mounting solution.

Bolt Assembly and Charging Handle

The bolt assembly is a PCC unit built specifically for .45 ACP. A Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle rounds out the upper's operating components.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

A complete Mil-Spec AR-15 Lower Parts Kit covers the fire-control and lower-control internals needed once a lower receiver is on hand. Behind it sits a Mil-Spec heavy-duty six-position buffer tube, holding a stainless steel AR 9mm buffer and a standard USA-made recoil spring. Buffer end-cap color may vary. An AR-15 carbine castle nut and Mil-Spec AR-15/M16 receiver end plate secure the buffer tube assembly to the lower.

SBR Ready

This Shank kit is configured as SBR Ready, which means it ships without a brace so the buyer can select their own final setup. The included component list above reflects exactly what ships with this kit, and it should be reviewed as supplied when planning the completed build. The lower receiver and any furniture selection remain the buyer's responsibility, separate from what's included here. The SBR Ready designation applies specifically to this configuration of the Shank.
