Warden SBR Ready 12.5-inch .308 Winchester AR-10 Full Build Kit

The Warden SBR Ready Full Build Kit is built around a 12.5-inch Bear Creek SOCOM barrel chambered in .308 Winchester, finished in Parkerized. It's paired with an AR-10 high-profile upper receiver finished in black anodizing. It pairs an Omega Mfg SCRAAM-48 12-inch super slim KeyMod handguard with a GI-style birdcage flash hider at the muzzle, running on a pistol-length gas system. A Recoil Technologies LR-308 bolt carrier group, LR-308 aluminum charging handle, Recoil Technologies .308 Mil-Spec AR-10 Lower Parts Kit, and carbine buffer-system components are all included. The lower receiver is not included, and this SBR Ready version ships without a brace.

Barrel and Gas System

The Bear Creek SOCOM barrel runs 12.5 inches long, chambered in .308 Winchester and built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish. It carries a 1:10 twist rate and a 5/8x24 muzzle thread. Gas cycles back to the action through a pistol-length system, running a pistol-length gas tube and an .875 standard low-profile adjustable gas block machined from steel with a Melonite finish.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is an AR-10 high-profile unit finished in black anodizing, fitted with an AR-15 forward assist assembly and an LR-308 ejection port door assembly. Over the barrel sits an Omega Mfg SCRAAM-48 handguard, 12 inches long in a super slim design, using a KeyMod attachment system along its length.

Muzzle Device

Capping the muzzle is a GI-style birdcage flash hider, listed as compatible with .308 Winchester, 7.62x39, and .300 Blackout. It threads onto the barrel's 5/8x24 pattern and is secured with the included 5/8-inch black crush washer.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

A Recoil Technologies LR-308 bolt carrier group is included, finished in nitride and listed for use across .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .243 Winchester. An LR-308 aluminum charging handle rounds out the upper's operating components.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

A Recoil Technologies .308 Mil-Spec AR-10 Lower Parts Kit covers the fire-control and lower-control internals needed once a lower receiver is on hand. Behind it sits a Mil-Spec heavy-duty six-position buffer tube, holding an LR-308 collapsible stock buffer weighing 3.76 ounces and an AR-10 carbine extra-power buffer spring made from 17-7 stainless steel. An AR-15 carbine castle nut and Mil-Spec AR-15/M16 receiver end plate secure the buffer tube assembly to the lower.

This Warden kit is configured as SBR Ready, which means it ships without a brace so the buyer can select their own final setup. The included component list above reflects exactly what ships with this kit, and it should be reviewed as supplied when planning the completed build. The lower receiver and any furniture selection remain the buyer's responsibility, separate from what's included here. The SBR Ready designation applies specifically to this configuration of the Warden.
