Tendon SBR Ready 7.5-inch 10mm AR-15 Full Build Kit

The Tendon SBR Ready Full Build Kit is built around a 7.5-inch 10mm Auto barrel with an M4 contour, built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel and finished in Parkerized, paired with a "Vertex" enhanced pistol-caliber billet upper receiver. It pairs a 7-inch M-LOK handguard with a steel flash can at the muzzle, operating on a direct blowback system. A PCC bolt assembly, Mil-Spec charging handle, complete Lower Parts Kit, and carbine buffer-system components are all included. The lower receiver is not included, and this SBR Ready version ships without a brace.

Barrel and Operating System

The barrel runs 7.5 inches long, chambered in 10mm Auto and built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and M4 contour. It carries a 1:16 twist rate and a 9/16x24 muzzle thread. This build cycles on a direct blowback system, relying on bolt mass and recoil spring pressure rather than a gas system to cycle the action.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a "Vertex" enhanced pistol-caliber billet unit, purpose-built for the AR-15 pistol-caliber carbine platform. Over the barrel sits a 7-inch handguard finished in black, using an M-LOK attachment system with a partial Picatinny top rail section running along its length.

Muzzle Device

Capping the muzzle is a steel flash can, built with a bore sized for 10mm and .40 S&W pass-through. It threads onto the barrel's 9/16x24 pattern and is secured with the included 5/8-inch black crush washer.

Bolt Assembly and Charging Handle

A PCC AR bolt assembly is included, compatible with 10mm and .40 S&W and built around the blowback operating system. A Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle rounds out the upper's operating components.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

A complete Mil-Spec AR-15 Lower Parts Kit covers the fire-control and lower-control internals needed once a lower receiver is on hand, and a Mil-Spec AR-15 pistol grip finished in black is included. Behind it sits a Mil-Spec heavy-duty six-position carbine buffer tube, holding a heavy 8-ounce PCC/9mm-style buffer, along with a standard USA-made recoil spring. An AR-15 carbine castle nut and Mil-Spec AR-15/M16 receiver end plate secure the buffer tube assembly to the lower.

SBR Ready

This Tendon kit is configured as SBR Ready, which means it ships without a brace so the buyer can select their own final setup. The included component list above reflects exactly what ships with this kit, and it should be reviewed as supplied when planning the completed build. The lower receiver and any furniture selection remain the buyer's responsibility, separate from what's included here. The SBR Ready designation applies specifically to this configuration of the Tendon.
