The Pharos w/Gauntlet Arms Brace is built around a 7.5-inch 10mm Auto barrel with an M4 contour, paired with a 6061 aluminum pistol-caliber AR-15 billet upper receiver. It pairs a 7-inch tubular free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with an A2-style birdcage flash hider at the muzzle. It runs on a blowback operating system. A PCC bolt assembly, Mil-Spec charging handle, complete Lower Parts Kit, pistol-caliber buffer-system components, and a Gauntlet Arms polymer stabilizing brace round out the rest of the build. The lower receiver is not included, leaving the buyer to select and supply that component separately.

Barrel and Muzzle Device

The barrel runs 7.5 inches long, chambered in 10mm Auto and built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and M4 contour. It carries a 1:16 twist rate and a 9/16x24 muzzle thread. At the muzzle sits an A2-style birdcage flash hider rated for both 10mm and .40 S&W, threaded to match the barrel's 9/16x24 pattern and secured with the included 5/8-inch black crush washer.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a 6061 aluminum billet unit built for the pistol-caliber AR-15 platform. Over the barrel sits a 7-inch tubular handguard machined from aluminum with a 1.77-inch internal diameter, free-floated for a clean, uninterrupted forend. It carries a Suppressor-Ready design as a feature of this specific handguard, using an M-LOK attachment system along its length.

Bolt Assembly and Charging Handle

The bolt assembly is a PCC AR unit built for compatibility with both 10mm Auto and .40 S&W. A Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle rounds out the upper's operating components.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

A complete Mil-Spec AR-15 Lower Parts Kit covers the fire-control and lower-control internals needed once a lower receiver is on hand. Behind it sits a heavy-duty pistol buffer tube compatible with AR-15 and AR-style pistols, holding a heavy 9mm-style buffer weighing 8 ounces and finished in black, along with a standard USA-made recoil spring.

Stabilizing Brace

Capping off the rear of the build is a Gauntlet Arms polymer stabilizing brace finished in black. It mounts directly to the pistol buffer tube included with this kit, built specifically for pistol-configured AR platforms like this 10mm build.
