The Left Hook Complete Upper is built around a 10.5-inch 5.56 NATO Bear Creek Arsenal barrel with a carbine-length gas system and a fixed M4-style front sight base, paired with a left-hand Black Diamond Series billet upper receiver and a matched left-handed Davidson Defense bolt carrier group and charging handle.

The 10.5-inch Bear Creek Arsenal barrel is built in an M4 profile from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and a 1:8 twist rate suited to 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. It runs a carbine-length gas system through a stainless steel gas tube, and it's built with a fixed M4-style front sight base that includes a front sling attachment point. The muzzle carries an A2 Birdcage flash hider.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a left-handed, slick-side billet unit from the Black Diamond Series, finished in black, and it includes the ejection port door assembly with rod and spring. It's paired with a 7-inch M4 carbine-length drop-in handguard built on a quad-rail Picatinny system, finished in black.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

A Davidson Defense premium left-handed M16/AR-15 bolt carrier group is included, finished in Nitride to match the upper receiver's left-side charging orientation, along with a mil-spec quality AR-15 M4 charging handle.
