The Shank is built around a 7.5-inch Bear Creek Arsenal barrel chambered in .45 ACP, with an M4 contour finished in Parkerized. It's paired with a 6061 aluminum pistol-caliber AR-15 billet upper receiver. It pairs a 7-inch ultra-lightweight minimalist M-LOK handguard with a Hughes Precision thread adapter, giving this build a Suppressor Ready configuration since no muzzle device is installed on that threading. BCG and charging handle are not included, leaving the buyer to supply those components separately.

Barrel and Thread Adapter

The barrel is 7.5 inches long, chambered in .45 ACP and built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and M4 contour. It carries a 1:16 twist rate and a .578x28 RH muzzle thread. A Hughes Precision thread adapter is fitted at the muzzle, stepping the .578x28 RH female input thread down to a 5/8x24 RH male output thread, with no muzzle device installed on that final threading.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a 6061 aluminum billet unit built for the pistol-caliber AR-15 platform. Over the barrel sits a 7-inch ultra-lightweight minimalist handguard finished in black, using an M-LOK attachment system with a full-length Picatinny rail running along its top. This handguard does not include anti-rotation tabs.

Suppressor Ready

The Hughes Precision thread adapter converts this barrel's .578x28 RH threading to a 5/8x24 RH output, and no muzzle device is installed on that output threading, which is what makes this build Suppressor Ready. The bare threaded end leaves that output open for the buyer's own suppressor mounting solution.
