We love Guntec products, which is probably not surprising, after all,
what’s not to love? Guntec makes high quality, lightweight, ergonomic,
aesthetically good looking gun parts in a wide array of colors. If you
want to add some color to your AR-15 Gun tech has got you covered. If
they have a part you need, chances are they have that part in anodized
red, blue, purple, green, all the major colors of the rainbow, including
anodized rainbow. Anodized gold, matte gold, or actual gold (plated),
the choice is yours. Of course, they also have plenty of parts in black,
white, gray, tungsten, and plenty of other choices to make your rifle
really pop. One of the best things about these products is that they are
U.S. made, so that you know the quality is consistently good.
Of course, there are other considerations than the color of your AR-15,
you still gotta lug it around after all. If you are looking for a
lighter AR-15 that still gets the job done then Guntec has what you are
looking for. Skeletonized parts with less material for less weight,
while maintaining strength, are a place where Guntec excels. From light
pistol grips to BCGs, to gas blocks they have a lot of choices for
light-weight parts. The pistol grips are either a skeletonized cut out
design or hollow body to reduce weight. They’ve got ergonomic finger
grooves for comfort and the lightest pistol grips weigh in at only 3.4
OZ!
Another ultra light-weight option is the honeycomb handguards. Only 8.9
OZ including barrel nut, and all for less than $150. This is made with
heavy duty aluminum so the strength is still there. These handguards
come in many of those great colors that Guntec is known for. These
handguards feature 3 sides of M-LOK attachment systems as well as a
Picatinny rail that fits great with a monorail upper receiver. Guntec
makes a lot of great AR pistol parts. Their AirLite series “Honeycomb”
9” M-LOK Freefloat Handguard also features 3 sides of M-LOK towards the
front and a Picatinny rail along the top.
Guntec also has some great muzzle devices. The Guntec AR-15 is a
barrel shroud and a muzzle compensator. It features a Gatling gun style
muzzle comp which reduces felt recoil up to 70 percent. The Micro Comp
Steel Compensator has 3 top porting holes to reduce muzzle climb and
side slots reduce pressure during rapid fire.
So those are a few of our favorite Guntec parts. High quality,
