Gauntlet Arms "Ace Series" 7" AR-15 M-Lok Freefloat Handguard
One of the best ways to personalize any custom AR-15 build is by choosing your handguard. In today's market, freefloat handguards have definitely become the most popular. Freefloat handguards are made to cover the barrel and are securely connected to the upper receiver using a steel or aluminum barrel nut. Your handguard accomplishes an array of functional applications in an AR-15 build kit including protecting the shooter's hand from the hot barrel, offering the shooter plenty of space to hold the weapon for maximum control while firing, serving as the installation point for sights/optics, providing additional space for other accessories attached, and also, helping create the aesthetic that you want for your build.
It is recommended that your handguard completely cover the gas system of the AR-15, so please take your gas system length into account when choosing a handguard. The Ace Series Fury handguard is equipped with an M-Lok mounting system for convenient and sturdy installation of different accessories & grips in different positions on the handguard.
Cuts:
This Gauntlet Arms Handguard is designed with diagonal shapes cut into the handguard. This method not only improves the aesthetic of the handguard but keeps it lightweight without affecting the strength or function of the handguard.
Barrel Nut:
The Ace Series Handguard comes with a high quality steel barrel nut and mounting hardware
Type of Top Rail:
This Gauntlet Arms Handguard is CNC machined with a cutout across the top handguard with Picatinny rails machined at both ends.
Profile:
The Ace Series freefloat handguard is made with a slim profile. This is a great design for shooters with smaller hands and creates a unique look for the entire AR-15 build.
